Job description

Responsibilities:
– Assist the Head Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen
– Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
– Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed
– Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and procedures
– Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
– Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
– Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:
– Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen
– Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
– Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
– Proven experience in a high-volume restaurant or food production setting
– Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
– Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
