Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar operations at our esteemed establishment in Richmond, North Yorkshire. If you have a passion for mixology, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring a high standard of service.
• Manage and train bar staff, creating schedules, and overseeing performance.
• Develop and maintain an enticing drinks menu, including signature cocktails.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
• Implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming bar environment
• Prepare and manage budgets, including cost control and profit maximisation.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Extensive knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and beers.
Ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume periods effectively.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
