JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the absence entitlements and adjustments. Ensuring correct forms
are completed and authorised.
• Be proactive.
• Be the point of contact for all those eligible for holiday.
• Oversee and coordinate all maternity and paternity leave.
• Full understanding of compassionate travel, entitlement and process of applications for
compassionate leave.
• Run an absence report after every leave period.

• Maintain a travel register during the financial year for all hotel, flight, ferry and rail bookings.
• Upload all completed travel application emails to the SharePoint for audit purposes.
• Ensure correct travel is booked for leave/graduation in a timely manner.
• Print the register for all bookings.
• Liaise with agencies as necessary.
• Be the point of contact for all railcard queries.

• Complete accountable documents.
• Apply for refunds when a rail ticket has not been used, even half journeys.
Other duties
• To carry out monthly information and health checks.
• To attend and participate in training required for the role.
• Carry out additional tasks as required
