We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef De Partie/ Junior Sous to join our team. As a Chef De Partie/ Junior Sous, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food production and maintaining a smooth workflow. Responsibilities:
– Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and guidelines
– Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely manner
– Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
– Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food orders and maintain inventory levels
– Assist with menu planning and recipe development as needed
– Supervise and train junior kitchen staff members
– Maintain high standards of quality control, portion control, and presentation
– Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
– Previous experience working as a SeniorCDP or Junior sous or in a similar role within the restaurant industry
– Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
– Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
– Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
