We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food production and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities:
– Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development
– Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and proper food safety procedures
– Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to established standards
– Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
– Collaborate with the Head Chef to create new dishes and seasonal menus
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
– Adhere to all health and safety regulations
– Assist in the hiring and training of new kitchen staff
– Oversee food production during service hours

Qualifications:
– Previous experience working in a culinary role, preferably as a Sous Chef or similar position
– Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques
– Excellent leadership and communication skills
– Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
– Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
– Knowledge of restaurant operations and hospitality industry standards
